Music From Greer 2010, “music with altitude,” continues into the ninth season. The concert season expands to five weekends of classical, jazz, piano, guitar and ‘fiddling’ music all in beautiful Greer, Arizona.
Returning this year, Tawna Flake and David Peterson begin the concert series on May 29 with fiddling and piano. Followed by Ji Sun Lee and Michael Lich’s musical artistry of piano, guitar and banjo. Quartet Greer, original Music From Greer classical artists from Oklahoma, play their magical strings and piano the weekend of July 16. Paloma Winds, members of the Tucson Symphony, grace us with woodwinds airing classical and modern music July 23 and 24. July 25, 2:00 pm Kyle Malkin and Suite Strings featuring the Paloma Winds. To end the season a new concert on August 7 featuring Tea For Five, a jazz ensemble.
